Borneo is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers, the jungles are full of different kinds of animals and the abundance of different kinds of plants is amazing and so is the multitude and beauty of flowers.

On the island of Selingan in the nature park of Pulau Penyun it is possible to watch the giant sea turtles. The distance from Sandakan to the island is about 40 km. The staff of the island gathers turtle eggs and moves them out of reach of local fishermen. On Selingan you can see the turtles’ laying of eggs and follow the protections work. Very interesting for the ones environmentally oriented!
